Power Dressing

Today after class, we will have a meeting with our suppliers and our designers for our business. Thus, I decided that I should wear something appropriate. I went for power dressing.
Number 1 Rule: Keep is simple, classy, and sophisticated.
Hence, I decided to wear neutral colors in black and cream. To add just a little interesting focal point, I wore my red wedges. They say that the color red is a color of power, so it adds to the sophistication.

I have long been looking for a black top with a leotard-esque fit, but I really just cannot find one.
Then lo and behold, I finally found a perfect black top at the Univ Week Bazaar at DLSU, at Knots :)

Really love the cutouts! It added small and interesting details in the top. :)

I then paired it with my new cream skirt which I also got from Louis Bella, a booth during the Univ Week Bazaar. I super love the clothes from Louis Bella. :) They have this luxurious sophisticated vibe in them. They also have a boutique at Alabang Town Center, Pop Culture. :)

Wearing this skirt makes me feel like a ballerina :)

I wore gold dangling earrings and gold cuff watch for a more classy look. :)

Wore my new Melissa red bow wedges :)

30 Day Blogger Challenge Day 23: Black Equestrienne

For my outfit yesterday, I took my cue from Vern Enciso's outfit :)
Black buttondown + black pants + tall boots

Today is laboratory day, so we are required to wear pants, closed shoes, and no sleeveless tops.
So, I went overboard! Haha. I wore longsleeves and tall boots instead! :)
This outfit reminds me of an equestrienne! In fact, everytime I wear these tall boots, I feel like one :)

30 Day Blogger Challenge Day 22: Blair Waldorf :)

For today's outfit, I got my inspiration from the very pretty Queen B, Blair Waldorf! I am definitely currently obsessed with her style right now :)

So here's my take on her look :) Yellow blouse + printed skirt with hints of yellow + orange shoes :)

Channeling Blair Waldorf will not be complete without wearing a headband! :)

The lace appliques on the yellow top adds to the sweetness and delicateness of the look :)

To keep the look coordinated, the skirt also has the same yellow in its prints. :)

And again, my overused orange wedges from CLN :)

To add a more polished effect, I added my cobalt blue blazer to keep the look together and well-coordinated :)

And of course, the bag has to match with the color of my shoes!

I totally love this outfit! :)
